In partnership with Morgan Ashurst Plc, Brown and Company have designed and installed the mechanical and electrical installation to the new 5,000 square meter Primary Care Centre in the town centre of Ashton-under-Lyne.
The new facility is split over three floors, and includes GP Practices, a Dentistry suite, Physiotherapy, Podiatry, Sexual Health and X-Ray facilities. As well as providing the usual mechanical and electrical installation in line with all current energy saving guidelines, there is also a Solar Thermal heating installation, and a rainwater harvesting system and CHP Plant installed to further enhance the environmentally friendly nature of this building.
In addition we have installed a fully integrated building management system to fully integrate the heating system, security system and controlled access systems within the building, so that the client and their facilities management team will have total control and monitoring facilities of the building, thus providing a long term solution to energy management of the facility.
