Yates Court - St Helens

In conjunction with Bullock Construction, we are providing the Electrical Engineering installation to Yates Court in Prescot. The 13 self contained apartments will be completed in early 2010, and will boast many Eco features including energy efficient insulation and lighting as well as a communal garden and external parking facilities.

Manchester Metropolitan University - Engineering and Science Workshop

Manchester Metropolitan Unversity

As part of our continuing partnership agreement with Morgan Ashurst, we are carrying out the Electrical Engineering Services Installation, for a new 1,240 square metre Science and Engineering Workshop for the Manchester Metropolitan University. The building is a two storey facility, and replaces the University’s old buildings that had long since seen better days, and incorporates all the latest technologies to enable the university to maintain it’s high standard of education in this field, which includes a Forensic Science Laboratory. The design has been carried out by WYG Engineering for the University, and the architects are The Fairhursts Design Group in Manchester.

The expected completion date of this project is March 2010.

Glossop Primary Care Centre - Bury, Tameside and Glossop NHS Trust

In the second Tranche of the Bury Tameside and Glossop LIFT scheme, we are providing the Electrical Engineering Services for the Glossop Primary Care Centre. This is a design and build scheme being built in partnership with Morgan Ashurst. The building will offer a wide range of responsive health and community facilities centred on the patient including: modern consulting rooms, minor injuries and major treatment services, dental services, speech therapy services, chiropody and podiatry services, ophthalmology and orthoptic services.

Glossop Primary Care Centre - Bury, Tameside and Glossop NHS Trust

Winsford Learning Zone

This is a Design & Build New Build 3 storey College Building with Classrooms, IT Suites, LRC, Salons and Creche and surrounding soft landscaping.

This Learning Zone is to be a centre of educational excellence providing high quality courses for all ages in the Community up to post retirement.

The Learning Zone project is being led by Mid Cheshire College and supported by a number of agencies including the Learning & Skills Council, the County Council, the Northwest Development Agency and Vale Royal Borough Council.

Winsford’s two local high schools and Sir John Deanes College in Northwich are also involved in the project.

This project is being design and built in partnership with Pochin Construction Ltd, and being project managed by AA Projects. At the centre of the design is producing the BREEAM “very good” rating, which everyone within the design team is committed to achieving.

Winsford Learning Zone

Airkix - Trafford Park, Manchester

Airkix is bringing indoor skydiving to Manchester as they build their second UK vertical wind tunnel.

The site location is Trafford Quays close to the amazing Trafford Centre and right next to Chill Factore, the real snow slope.

They expect to be open with their new, state of the art, 14ft diameter, 1600 HP, wind tunnel by the end of 2009.

St Thomas' Primary School - Harpurhey, Manchester

As part of the Manchester City Council Framework, and in partnership with Morgan Ashurst, we are designing, building and constructing the new St Thomas Primary School in Lower Crumpsall.
St Thomas primary's new building will be raised on stilts to counter flood risk.

The 450m2, steel-framed two-storey new school building for St Thomas primary school will be located opposite the school's existing site in Waterloo Road. It will be raised on stilts in order to minimise the one in 100-year risk of flooding at the site.

As well as the main building there will be a new library, ICT room, classrooms, kitchen, dining area, recreation hall and staff room.
