A new production facility for Fine Lady Bakeries was completed in November 2010, and consists of a 165,000 sq ft footprint. The scheme includes 10,000 sq ft offices, meeting rooms, toilets and welfare facilities. The associated external works provide 293,000 sq ft of yard area and incorporate a fuel island, truck wash, tray wash facility and waste compactors.
The factory was completed in the Autumn of 2010 is fully operational and is baking and distributing fresh produce across England, to supermarkets, independent retailers and the catering industry.
The project was a design and build contract and involved all aspects of the installation from the main 4000kVa HV infrastructure through to process pipework.
The project was carried out in a very tight programme an incorporated a client fit out within the construction programme.
